- Domestic Violence: In previous years, Yin-Lynn contributed to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation for every real estate deal she made. The Foundation supports shelters for women and children and helps to fund domestic violence prevention programs.
- Cancer Research: In 2016, Yin-Lynn completed her first 21 km walk for Toronto's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. She did it again in 2023, following prior years of continuous involvement. In 2020, she acted as an ambassador for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Radiothon event.
